My thirty-first week as a senior was a bore. It was a four-day week and not a lot happened in any of my classes. It was chill, workwise.

In Calculus and Vectors, we finished chapter 7, Applications of Vectors. On Tuesday, we did 7.6, Cross Product of Two Vectors. I had a really hard time learning it in Dubai when it was a part of my Physics course. But now I understand how it’s done so that’s cool. It would be a lot to type so I won’t explain it here, but if you want to learn it, there are some great videos on YouTube. On Wednesday, we 7.7, Applications of Dot and Cross products. The real-life application of the dot product is to find the amount of work done by an object. The real-life applications of the cross product are to find the area of a parallelogram or the volume of a parallelepiped. Of course, those aren’t the only applications but that’s what we worked on. Thursday and Friday were review days, but we ended up not having an assignment for the part of the chapter. In Writer’s Craft, we had the review assignment from the week before. Since the deadline wasn’t until the 27th, I didn’t bother working too much on it XD. Nothing else happened in that class. In English, we did all of Hamlet’s Act 3. Our teacher told us to read the whole act and answer the questions she had sent. Along with that, she sent us videos of Hamlet’s Soliloquy from the different adaptations of Hamlet. She asked us to tell her which version was the best and most effective in portraying Hamlet’s madness. Lastly, we had to paraphrase Hamlet’s soliloquy ourselves. I can’t say I enjoyed that.

This is one of my shortest weekly recounts and that does not make me happy. I’m going to try picking up something to learn, apart from these three classes, and maybe I’ll talk about that in the remaining 4-5 posts. We’re almost done with senior year! Just a few more posts left. Oof. I had the best time recording my year in these posts and, hopefully, will have an even better time recording my university experience the same way. Till next time, toodles. – Aarushi
