It’s our 11th monthiversary! 1 month to a whole year!! This blog is such an important part of my life and I’m glad I’ve been able to keep going for almost a year now. July has been an extremely busy month for me, education-wise. I’ve joined a lot of prep classes that are now tiring me out, but I have to push through because this will be my life for at least the next 4 years. I had my course enrolment last week, which was thrilling and exciting and nerve-wracking. I’ve spent quite a bit of time making new friends online (with people who I know I’ll eventually meet on campus, not people who are and will always remain strangers), which feels nice because I thought I was going to have a much harder time. Overall, I’ve been very occupied with making arrangements for a fun year for myself.

Of course, this wouldn’t be a monthiversary post without a few words of gratitude. I’m immensely thankful for the people who are making my life better, in ways known and unknown. I cherish you with all my heart and thank you for keeping me going, with this blog and with life. I have my ups and downs, and, to the people who celebrate my ups and comfort me in my downs, thank you for being such angels.

To my small community of readers, thank you for being a motivation to continue writing. I would write and post here regardless of the view count, but you are what makes this fun to do. Here I am, at 11 PM, after a tiring day, still wanting to post this because of all your support. You may just be liking my post on Instagram or sharing the link to this blog with a friend or two, but that is worth more than gold to me. Even the smallest act of encouragement helps me go on. I wouldn’t have written an 1800-word essay about my course enrolment experience in 2 hours for no one to read. Thank you for being a wonderful audience.

I’m going to stop here because I might fall asleep at my keyboard and that would be good for anyone. I do want to post more next month, but I promised that in June and I didn’t reach my goal. So, at least until school starts and I get back into a nice routine, I will stick to posting when the inspiration strikes and hopefully that will be frequently during the month of August. Till next month, toodles. – Aarushi
